Caring for Rural American Indian Elders

National Resource Center on Native American Aging LogoThere is an expected increase of American Indian elders in the near future. With the rise of this population, there is also a rise for a long-term care system that allows elders to remain in their own home and community settings. The National Resource Center on Native American Aging shares a Caregiver Curriculum that focuses on caring for elders. This is a resource for families and caregivers who serve rural Native Americans while staying mindful and aware of Tribal reservation communities and traditions.
